What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon listening to two wonderful choirs at the Biltmore United Methodist Church singing all the great songs by Cohan, Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter and others.  For the life of me it was hard not to sing along all the way through the concert!

CONGRATULATIONS to both groups.  It was a fun and wonderful afternoon in the great City of Asheville.  Don't ever underestimate the talents in North Carolina!

And then, THE LAB SINGERS!  Under the direction of Daniel Hensley and at the piano, the Co-Director and Pianist, Isaac Fulk, the music and songs were given a new twist in a jazz style and technique.  The mood changed and the audience was amazed with the talents of Daniel and his ability to pull creative stage like performances from each member. The only thing lacking were the dancers and light changes and a revolving set and it would have become a Broadway Show!  However, Daniel did do a few movements that were popular with the audience and it could have offered up a Tony Award had he moved just a little more.

The LAB SINGERS performed great hits like "You'd Be So Nice To Come Home To," Singin' In The Rain," "Some Of These Days," "Happy Days are Here Again/Get Happy," and many other toe tappers during the concert!

"NOSTALGIA," bringing back wonderful memories in life and music.  What a perfect adventure for all of those in the audience as they would hum along, clap with gracious applause and even an outburst of "thank you" throughout the crowd!

The REUTER CENTER SINGERS was under the direction of Chuck Taft and

at the piano was the Accompanist,

Nora Vetro.  From the personality and ability of the Director to the wonderful accompaniment at the piano, they all gave their hearts and voices to those attending because of their enjoyment in singing those wonderful melodies from "Give My Regards To Broadway", "I Got Rhythm," "There's No Business Like Show Business," to"White Christmas "and so many more!
