I want to personally thank Breanne Boaz who was our waitress.  She is an outstanding representative of the restaurant and staff.  You are greeted with a smile and from that moment on you know you are in good hands!

Venite a trovarci!  Sei sempre il benvenuto!

LAKE LURE, NORTH CAROLINA sits in the heart of the Hickory Nut Grove.  This area is famous for hiking, bird watching, fishing, rock climbing, swimming, boating and so much more.  It is the home of the historical and famous 1927 Lake Lure Inn and Spa where great leaders have vacationed along with Presidents including Franklin D. The menu is extensive and every item will make you mouth water.  You would think because of its location, reputation and quality of food that the restaurant would be expensive.  Absolutely NOT!

It is extremely reasonable and excellent portions!  As a matter of fact, once you discover La Strada, it might become one of your favorite places to take your friends and family when they come for a visit!

Now one of the main reasons it is such a wonderful place, it offers great food.  If you have missed the dining experience at the LA STRADA ITALIAN GRILL in Lake Lure overlooking the Lake, you have missed on great enjoyable experience.  It is like a European terrazzo that accommodates 88 guests and the main dinning room can seat just over 162 guests.

From "Specials of the Day" to menu items you will find a selection you will appreciate created by Grant Rhodes, the Head Chef and Shane Lancaster, the Kitchen Manager. It's always quality of food coming out of the kitchen!

Oh, I forgot!  They have fantastic desserts.  Try the Carolina Cobbler,

"It's to die for!"

The La Strada is owned and operated by the brothers of Joe and Stan Mazur and Stan's wife Marcia.  Jacob Pinter is the Assistant General Manager and together they run this organization first class.  It is a collective 40 years of history amongst them with hands on operation serving North Carolina.  (Pictured with Jacob is Angelika Nuschler visiting from the Bavarian Tourism Board in Germany)

It is like a picture out of an old time book, a place of peace and quiet, some come for relazation and some come to play.  It is the location for the classic film, "Dirty Dancing!".

Just outside of Hendersonville, North Carolina is a wonderful place called Lake Lure, North Carolina.  surrounded by beautiful trees, accented with flowers and a beach were so many famous people have come to swim and enjoy nature at its very best.

From Soups, Salads, Pastas, Sandwiches and just about everything you would want in Italian food, even down to the good old American hamburger, this restaurant would be my only selection in the area.  You can have Linguine in Vodka Sauce, Fettuccine Alfredo or Chicken Piccata, Manicotti, Eggplant Parmagiana and so much more!

While there I tried the Crab and Spinach Dip served with fresh corn and flour chips.  Believe me, there is plenty of crab found in this item.  Next I tried the Corn and Crab Soup.  WOW! Do I like crab or what?

Not only is LA STRADA ITALIAN RESTAURANT in Lake Lure a great place for lunch, it can be one of those great romantic candlelit evenings out on the village.  Located at 2693 Memorial Highway, in Lake Lure, NC 28746

The Lake is approximately 720 acres with twenty one miles of shoreling and located right in the heart of the Thermal Belt for Four Seasons of perfect weather.  Located close to Chimney Rock and the little village of Bat Cave, surrounded by apple farms and a winery, with a possible Moonshine Still or two still hidden in the woods somewhere, this is God's Paradise for your family and friends as a vacation spot!
