Oh, by-the-way, did I tell you the Shakespeare productions in the park are FREE.  This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy an evening with family and friends.  You can rent comfortable chairs or just bring a blanket and enjoy having a picnic while watching the show.  THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS TO DO WHILE LIVING OR VISITING IN THE ASHEVILLE AREA!

This production of "AS YOU LIKE IT" only runs through September 26th as the last presentation at the outdoor Amphitheatre, for this season, there are still two more presentations for the year.  THE TRAGEDY OF KING LEAR and THE CHRISTMAS CAROL will be performed at the  Masonic Temple in Asheville.

What a fun night under the stars with the performance of Shakespeare's, "AS YOU LIKE IT!"  The Montford Players gave the audience exactly what they came to see; i.e., laughter, quality acting and most of all a well performed Shakespeare production.  The STARS were above and on the stage.

As John Russell, who is the Managing Director,  states, "Sit back and relax and be ready to laugh, to cry and be entertained by North Carolina's longest running Shakespeare Festival."

"AS YOU LIKE IT" was directed by Adrain Suskauer.  With this being his first show to direct with Montford Park Players, he succeeded and the audience applauded his work with standing ovations!  CONGRATULATIONS!
