With over 400 volunteers helping you enjoy the gardens, you can enjoy knowing that you and your family are safe and able to let go and relax.  From the gift shops to the refreshment stands, the fire pits to the Bonsai garden of lights, your Holiday feelings will grow with each step.  If needed wheel chairs are available and there are wonderful glasses you can purchase and wear for accenting the glow of the lights. ($2)

The QUILT of Lights will be the most photographed work of art that you will ever see.  AMAZING!  Towering in the background is a 50 foot tall tree with 8000 lights that dance and sparkle in a show every 30 minutes.  You know I suggest things for you to do, well, THIS IS ONE OF THEM.  To get into the Holiday Spirit, it only take a couple hours at the North Carolina Arboretum!

You and your family can't help but enjoy the Sights and Sounds of the Holiday Season!  As you stroll through the lighted garden exhibits you can enjoy a cup of hot Cocoa / Coffee or sit around one of the many outdoor fire pits.  It is a "take your time" experience and an adventure in colors.  You can take time roast a delicious s'mores.  or stroll through an operating miniture train village  You will be dazzled by the spectical in LED lighting of all colors including the new orange mixed with the traditions Christmas colors was breathtaking!

Are you ready for this?  This round display is made with water bottles filled with water reflecting light inside of their designed circle frame.  Great idea for a yard display.  Add color light that flash and more!

The North Carolina Arboretum is truly a Magical Night of Winter Lights.  This 434-acre public garden located within the Bent Creek Experimental Forest has been completely designed for the Christmas Holidays into one of the most exciting 3 acre displays of Christmas lights in the Southeast!

 Produced in collaboration with former designer and manager for Walt Disney World,  Jerry Stripling,  the Winter Lights exhibit is designed with brilliance beyond your imagination and creates a treat for the entire family. This is one exhibit you will be talking about for weeks!  


The North Carolina Arboretum WINTER LIGHTS runs from November 20th, 2015 through January 2, 2016 from 6 PM until 10 PM each night.  There is a reasonable admission price for Adult and Children and can be purchased by calling 800-514-3849 or visiting their website www.ncwinterlights.com
